Disney Store debuted a new set of Fairytale Designer Collection dolls recently, featuring the beautiful Princess Tiana and handsome Prince Naveen from the Disney film ‘Princess and the Frog’.
The dolls retail for $129.95, have a global limited edition of 6000 and include a Certificate of Authenticity. Purchase of the dolls is also limited to one per guest.
With the purchase, you will also receive a special Disney Fairytale Designer Collection Gift Bag (seen in the third photo to your left). Not that you would really be giving these dolls away as gifts! These are definitely keepers for any collector!
As of right now these beautiful dolls are STILL available on the Disney Store website. So hurry and grab them before they are gone! With many limited edition collectors items that Disney puts out, they will probably not last long. While Tiana doesn’t evoke the same craziness that Elsa or Anna is currently experiencing, these are still beautiful dolls that any collector will most definitely want!
And c’mon, with the free gift bag, it’s almost like they’re giving these things away……. ❤
Disney has unveiled a brand new portrait for the Disney Parks Dream Portrait Series with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The portrait, entitled “Where You Always Follow Your Heart” features Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Hudson as Princess Tiana.
Previous portraits include Taylor Swift as Rapunzel, Russell Brand as Captain Hook, Rachel Weisz as Snow White and Queen Latifah as Ursula, to name a few.
This latest image in the portrait series will be seen in the upcoming issues of Vanity Fair, People, + O Magazine.
This looks good!
I received an email this morning regarding Disney on Ice ~ Princesses + Heroes. This show has been running for quite a few years now, but is finally coming to our city! Needless to say, excitement is running high in my house!
The main premise of the show involves the heroes battling the villains to rescue and protect their one true love. See Prince Eric battle Ursula for Ariel (I can’t wait to see how they bring Ursula to life!), Prince Phillip defeat Maleficent/the dragon for Aurora, as well as Jasmine and Aladdin, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel and Tiana. The show has been running for a number of years, but the addition of new princesses Rapunzel and Tiana should be a big hit with the little ones!
Having seen Disney on Ice ~ Treasure Trove a few months back, as well as 100 Years of Magic last year, I’m sure Princesses + Heroes with not disappoint!
Tickets can be found at www.ticketmaster.com, www.ticketmaster.ca or wherever tickets are sold in your area.
